Breaking the boundaries

All the creatures living on the earth including human beings are bound in one way or another. Sometimes we are bound by natural things like weather, mountains, oceans etc. But sometimes we are bound by intangible things like rules, regulations and social norms. I belong to such an area where there are almost all types of resistances, boundaries and walls. We are surrounded by huge mountain ranges and divided by rivers and confined to limited areas due to harsh climate.

There are also numerous other boundaries we are bound of like there are very few means of modern communications. It took many years for telecommunication organizations to operate in our areas. This made our area much difficult to live in and separated us from the modern world. With the passage of time we break the communication boundaries and now the people of our area are enjoying the fastest 4G internet sitting in their rooms.

Talking personally about myself, I was supposed to shift to a hostel 80 km away from my home when I was 14 years old. It was a harsh period because I was a shy person and was not confident enough to interact with others. At first it became difficult for me to adjust in a new environment where people are speaking a totally different language. But I coped up with things and with passage of time I adjusted with the new environment. I learned their language in just 1 year and broke all the language barriers and boundaries.

In this developing and unpredictable world any emergency can arrive and happen at any time, restricting us from our normal routine. Recent global pandemic of the corona virus brought some new boundaries. For many months every country of the world is under strict lockdown. Schools, colleges, offices, transportations and markets are almost closed. People are confined to their homes because they are not allowed to go out. Till now we are able to break some of the boundaries like students around the globe are taking their classes online and many offices have also shifted to online mode. The employees are doing all their assigned work online sitting in their homes.
