I have been cognizant of the fact from the early days of my school life, primarily via the media, that there is maladministration and lack of rule of law in the country (Pakistan), but I was unable to conceive the meaning and gravity of these terms. I grasped their meaning and causes and consequences and effects on society as time passed. The day I comprehend the severity of the said problems a sense of eagerness has grown in me to avoid and eradicate these issues and help to create an effective administrative environment and prevalence of law in the society. This could be only done if I have sufficient knowledge about administration, management and law so for this purpose I have applied for the Turkey Government scholarship and opted for various subjects of administration and law in different universities of Turkey.

Throughout my academic life I have been specialty interested in social sciences as opposed to natural sciences because I have witnessed many alarming social issues in my country that have troubled me a lot such as corruption, absence of rule of law, financial crises poverty and many others. And social sciences had taught me various principles and methods to solve the social issues, for instance, at the very early stage of my academic life it taught me the lesson that everyone is equal before the law and that social assets must be used to benefit humanity.

In addition to my academic learning, I have learned considerable strategies of contributing by social gathering and social engagement to the administration and management of activities and events at different levels in the community. I volunteered to teach in classes held by the local education board in my village during my school holidays and I taught primary and secondary school children. Besides teaching I was given the responsibility of managing the tuition schedules and timetables and other activities such as trips and outings. I enjoyed much throughout the said time period and it helped me to boost my communication and managerial skills.

I had also served as a student council member in school cabinet for one year through school elections. I have been doing managerial activities relating to school functions and events as well as daily administrative activities in the school such as arranging morning assembly and monitoring the school’s hygiene process. Besides I also worked with my colleagues in the cabinet to solve various student issues by acting as mediator between the parties in the case of conflict between them. This period of my life played a vital role in giving me greater strength to be sure in my abilities and to refine my skills and abilities to confront and conquer any kind of challenge.

I was also chosen as my house captain during my school’s sports week and all of the house’s responsibilities were on my shoulders. Under my leadership the house was working, it was very difficult and hectic task because I had to be very vigilant to carry out the tasks so that the house would do well in the subsequent competitions with other three houses. It was a great experience that ended up being the best house which was a moment of triumph for me and it assured me that my leadership skills are improving and strengthening day after day.

I frequently take part in other social gatherings besides the school activities. I recently worked for more than thirty days as a volunteer at an international exhibition called “Rays of Light” in my district. I’ve been involved in various activities, such as directing visitors to the show and I also helped viewers use the technological devices in it, such as how to write a feedback on the touch screen device since there were people who were not acquainted with such technologies describing the context of any image and helping them eliminate confusion about any portrayal. The exhibition provided a unique individual experience for me and facilitated more interactive and exploratory engagement with many people.

I was also the head boy of my hostel and at the moment I am a member of the core team of SAJUWA teenagers Origination who work to empower the teenagers and allow them to do well in this cosmopolitan and rapidly developing world.

The faith I have gained from my past experiences and the skills I have developed by performing various tasks in and outside my school and my passion for resolving the issues and the idea of doing things within the legal and moral limits encourages me to pursue more quality education so that in the future it will help me to solve social problems and to do efficient administration in the society.

The reasons I want to study in Turkey are because the country has long been on the path of reclaiming its former position as a major global influence. It is also one of the most influential Muslim nations in the world, with the 18th largest economy in the world. In recent years, Turkey has become an increasingly important destination for internationally mobile students, especially from the greater Middle East and Central Asia region. Turkish Government’s efforts to encourage internationalization, strong economic growth, low visa barriers for neighboring countries and Turkey’s strategic location as Europe’s gateway to Asia made the country an increasingly attractive destination for higher education.

Being a Muslim and a resident of a Muslim country, I would be more comfortable to study in Turkey and it will give me the opportunity to analyze more closely the country’s governmental and social structure, and it will be an insight into approaches that the country had taken to resolve various issues related to Islamic states such as Islamic phobia as a Muslim state. I would love to find out how its economy is growing increasingly so that in the future I could use such strategies in my country to improve its economy and eradicate social evils which is my ultimate goal for my country.

I would therefore like to ask you for your assistance in providing me with the opportunity to be admitted to this scholarship program for further and higher education.
